Wuthering Waves Mt. Firmament Area Quests and Exploration Progress

When Wuthering Waves version 1.1 arrived, Huanglong received a memorable area expansion in the form of Mt. Firmament. The region was not as large as the version 1.0 map, which meant the number of new area quests remained modest. Even so, each quest offered a mix of puzzle solving, combat, and exploration that helped flesh out the mountain landscape.

One of the most useful additions in this update was the Exploration Progress page. Players could finally check all Area Quests available in specific locations. At the time, only Tiger’s Maw and Mt. Firmament had entries within this system. To open it, a player needed to access the Map and click the compass icon on the bottom right beside the current area name, where the text Exploration Progress appeared.

The shift toward clearer quest tracking made it easier to see what remained undone in the new zone. Rather than wandering blindly, players could consult the panel and then travel to the relevant spot.

Mirrored Loong’s Pearl

This puzzle-focused quest activated automatically after reaching a specific location in Xuanji Ridges, Mt. Firmament. The objective involved helping Shicheng complete a ritual. The core mechanic required connecting five Light Paths to the Altar of Radiance. Because the task mainly involved rotating a device, the difficulty stayed low. Most players could complete the quest in about 20 to 30 minutes. At the end, the achievement Gemberry was unlocked.

Dance Dance Chelonian

West of Hongzhen, a Hoartoise was being bullied by other Tacet Discords. Players who stopped to help entered a sequence of battles. After clearing the initial fight and a few follow-up encounters, the Dance Dance Chelonian quest completed. The reward included the Beguiling Melody and Ballad of Sword achievement.

This quest highlighted the lighter tone that could appear between serious story beats. The image of a Hoartoise under attack encouraged players to step in, and the combat chain kept the pace brisk.

Windchimer Collection Turn-In

Halfway through the Main Quest Jinzhou Rising, Huanglong I Act 7, after defeating Jue, a new quest appeared automatically in the Quest Menu. This turn-in became the place where players handed over every Windchimer they had gathered in the new area. It served as a collection reward and progression checkpoint for those who had spent time exploring Mt. Firmament.

Photography Request in Hongzhen

Also after defeating Jue in the Main Quest, a photography request could be found in Hongzhen. The task was straightforward: act as a photographer and take pictures of specific locations that Xunjing requested. This low-pressure quest gave players a reason to revisit scenic corners of Mt. Firmament and appreciate the environment.

Traces of Mt. Firmament

After completing Main Quest Jinzhou Rising, Huanglong I Act 7, players could locate another quest in Hongzhen. This quest introduced Traces of Mt. Firmament. It functioned as an event quest, which meant it was only available for a limited period during the update. Players who wanted to clear every available quest needed to finish it before the event window closed.

Pavo Plum Collection in Tiger’s Maw

A new entry was also added to Tiger’s Maw area quests. After the conclusion of Jinzhou Rising, Huanglong I Act 7 and after the whole village was unfrozen, players could go to Hongzhen village. Bing’ge could be found on a platform near the Resonance Beacon at the south. This quest was simple: collect a special Pavo Plum from specific locations. It eventually appeared as a Daily Quest, so players did not need to hunt for it all at once.
